For modern companies, stable order often means stagnation rather than blazing a path toward a desirable goal. Change, on the other hand, is becoming more and more of an everyday business. But with it comes an ever-growing sense of insecurity, especially for those who aren’t directly involved in the change processes, but feel its effects nonetheless. For them, you as internal communicator can make the difference. You have the position to define how well change is communicated and thus perceived within your company.
From May 2017 to December 2018, the number of employee experience jobs has grown by 173%.
This increase is a clear indication that having "Employee Experience" in your job title is more than just a trendy euphemism for people doing the same old work of human resources.

With all due respect to video calls and email, it’s also important every now and then for us to personally meet our community. That's why we started the #StaffbaseCommunity Tour this year. In November, a handful of Staffpranos set sail to meet customers, prospects, and partners, all interested in getting to know the Staffbase fans based alongside them locally, and to join them for a day of informative discussions. With a bag full of new features for our employee apps, we made our way to Stuttgart, Munich, Cologne, and London. Each meeting began with a firsthand update from Staffbase CEO Martin, followed by a case study from the community and plenty of time for talk and exchange ideas after.
Deutsche Telekom is one of the world's leading integrated telecommunications companies, with around 168 million mobile customers, 28 million fixed-network lines, and 19 million broadband lines. 218,000 employees (as of 2016) in 50 countries are driving the company's success forward. At the forefront are the more than 7,000 sales representatives with over 67,000 customer contacts every day. Communicating with all of these people, all over the world, is a massive challenge, but it's one that they’ve met head on with the aid of their employee app.
We sat down with our very own Chief Information Security Officer Fabian Wiedemann to talk about our recent certification of the international ISO27001 standard for information security. He explains what this means for Staffbase and for our customers.
